CDG, a Boeing Company, is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our Global HR team. Established over 40 years ago, CDG powers the aerospace, defense and engineering industries with comprehensive, strategic technical solutions that drive business success.
This position will be based in Welwyn Garden City, providing HR support for CDG employees in country. This position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on strategic and leadership exposure, while interacting daily with management and employees.
This position is a key partner in driving engagement throughout the organization and providing consultative/tactical support to management. In addition, this position will:
•Partner closely with onsite and regional CDG business/functional leaders to understand their business strategies and plans for knowledge, skills, and abilities
•Partner with in-country Boeing HR functionals as required
•Consult with leaders to determine the impact of human resources policies and processes on business plans
•Represent the business/function requirements and country specificities during deployment and implementation of new or revised global, regional, and country specific human resources strategies, plans, and/or policies and processes
• Follow closely country employment legislation and labor market evolution in order to ensure compliance and competiveness
•Provide local expertise in specialized areas such as compensation and benefits for the development and monitoring of relevant policies, processes, and services. Coordinates presentation of all employment offers and approval of compensation packages.
•Manage recruitment activities in collaboration with leadership and global staffing team. Track and analyze staffing and diversity strategy performance and recommend or implements corrective solutions
•Deploy and administer HR programs, policies, practices, and processes, salary (merit) review and performance management. Makes recommendation for improvement as necessary
•As necessary, participate on special projects or teams to review and improve on current HR processes and policies
•Some traveling will be required within the region and to the US
Bachelor’s degree required. CIPD preferred. Exemplary leadership ability along with excellent organization, time management skills, and multicultural flexibility are critical to this position.
