Job description
Boehringer Ingelheim is running a global initiative to implement harmonized finance and operations processes, establishing shared services based on a standardized application template with SAP as its core. In collaboration with an international team you will launch the template to additional Boehringer Ingelheim sites in various countries and replace current ERP systems across the world.
Tasks & responsibilities
· You are accountable for the implementation of SAP Releases/Templates and SAP Deployments in an international multi-dimensional environment
· Also you manage projects in close alignment with the external project lead through all phases, from scoping untill end of hypercare
· Moreover you support the set-up of a SAP preconfigured system
· And manage the relationship and communication between the business, internal and external IT stakeholders
· You lead external IT suppliers, manage their contracts and ensure external partners deliver according to agreements
· Furthermore you identify continuous improvement opportunities which can be implemented
· In addition you manage concerns and risks proactively
Requirements
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field
· Several years of working experience within IT and a good knowledge of SAP and business processes
· Proven experience within SAP full lifecycle projects, and at least 2 years of project lead experience
· Good technical understanding in architecture management and excellent project management skills
· Strong customer focus and teamworking performance in an international environment
· The ability to work on both strategic and tactical levels
· Willingness to travel on a regular basis (>20%)
· Profound verbal and written English skills in form, German or knowledge of other foreign language is an asset
