Job description
In this challenging role you will build and maintain scientific and medical relations with External Experts (EE's). You will regularly meet the EE's face to face and have a strong business acumen and interest. You will exchange medical and scientific information with key stakeholders and provide medical expertise to the Brand team and medical colleagues. The Medical Manager (MM) reports to the local Medical Director and with a dotted line to the Regional Therapy Area Head.
Job Profile
· Providing therapeutic area information to the brand team and contributing to strategic planning, developing local activities, and supporting Market Access
· Developing and maintaining a network and interacting with EE's and other health care professionals, authorities and media
· Initiating and managing clinical and scientific activities and projects
· Responsible for the quality of Technical Authority content in training, including regular updates and on-boarding processes
· Provide scientific training within the therapeutic area to sales reps and medical staff Supporting Clinical Operations in protocol review, feasibility, investigator meetings and training
· Collecting scientific insights to be integrated into Clinical Development Programs
Requirements
· Master's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical sciences or equivalent
· At least 2 years' experience as a Medical Liaison or Medical Manager in the pharmaceutical industry
· Relevant experience in the field of oncology e.g. through clinical experience or medical affairs
· Relevant local network with Oncology KOLs
· Fluent in Dutch, French and English
· Outstanding presentation and communication skills in order to share scientific content and context to multiple audiences – both orally and in writing
· Excellent project management ability
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Team-player with good peer relationship
· Good time management, prioritization and scheduling skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and to manage 40 travel days/year
