The eDiscovery Collections Manager will be the lead for the IT Collections Service and support the collection of numerous data sources for Legal matters. The eDiscovery Collections Manager will be responsible for working directly with our Global Legal Litigation and IT Business Partnering teams in effectively managing all eDiscovery Collections activities. The job will include but is not limited to managing collection activities, performing data collections, troubleshooting technical issues, keeping abreast of best practices and new eDiscovery tools, etc.

Job Profile

Duties & Responsibilities
· The eDiscovery Collections Manager will lead global IT Collections Service according to work priority and location.
· Collaborate with IT Legal Business Partner(s), IT and Global Legal on operational topics.
· Ensure team members running Collections is properly trained on the standard collection processes and procedures; ensure consistency of process and workflow execution across teams.
· Maintain and refine global processes, procedures and documentation.
· The eDiscovery Collections Manager will ensure adherence to defined policies, processes and Service Level Agreements.
· Participate in interviews with key IT custodians
· Monitor global matter level progress and tracking
· Assist Legal with early case assessments of electronic data.
· Liaise with the in-house Legal department regarding collection work priorities and progress reporting
· Oversee work performed by in-house IT colleagues, consultants, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate results.
· The eDiscovery Collections Manager will determine best tools and processes for collecting from new data sources.
· Develop and conduct training on the proper use of eDiscovery tools and procedures.
· Drive continuous improvement of eDiscovery procedures and toolsets.
· Ability to provide testimony on topics related to eDiscovery operations on an as-needed basis.
· Collect data from enterprise data sources using Guidance Software Encase, BlackLight, RoboCopy and other standard collection tools.
· Perform Quality Control on collections.
· Troubleshoot applications, tools, access, etc. as they arise.
· Create and maintain reporting on metrics.
· Audit the processes of the Collections Service.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree, from an accredited institution, plus (7+) years' experience in Information Technology.
· A minimum of three plus (3+) years' hands-on experience performing data collections for legal matters.
· One (1) to three (3) years project management experience
· International business exposure
· Knowledge of networking environments and operating systems including Windows and IOS.
· Advanced understanding of Chain of Custody procedures, preservation, EDRM and eDiscovery best practices.
· Guidance Software eDiscovery EnCase experience is plus.
· Exterro Fusion Legal Hold experience a plus.
· Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
· Flexibility to work nights and weekends as necessitated by project work. Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities:
· Experience working in a global team or on global projects

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
· Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
· Must be 18 years of age or older
