Position Purpose
To provide day to day IT Desktop Support for Trading Floor user, deliver a high quality of service and engineering standards
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
-To provide day to day desktop support for Trading Floor user
-To be responsible for Market Data Service Support and maintenance, assist for service implementation
-To provide assistance to application support for testing / deployment
-Support Businesses in regional offices by providing 2nd level support to BNPP China branches
-Support Business Operations and IT teams seated in the dealing rooms and related BO teams remotely
-To administrate user Window's accounts
-L1 support for Voice system ( CISCO / Etrali / Mobile / IPC)
-Preparation, delivery and installation of new equipment
-Track and proactively manage incidents, devise improvements to reduce incidents, find existing weakness in the infrastructure today, provide suggestions to improve this and dynamically and actively seek remedies
-Responsible for HW/SW/Services procurements, track and proactively manage assets and inventories
-To handle weekend tasks – Relocation/Project/Request
-To provide on-site Support during HK Public Holiday
Contributing Responsibilities
-To responsible for update and maintenance of committed DR Service
-To provide assistance to infrastructure deployment
-Assist in the management and implementation of core infrastructure projects with key Trading Floors insight
-Develop and maintain solid working relationships with customers and peers
-Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Solid knowledge of the following technologies:
-Windows 7 / 10
-PC hardware
-Microsoft Office
-Remote access, including Remote Desktop Connection, Citrix and VPN
-Active Directory
Necessary skills:
-Good communication skills
-The ability to work quickly and efficiently, including prioritization as needed
-Troubleshooting all aspects of Windows 7, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and proprietary software
-Good customer service skills and focus
-Ability to troubleshoot of network connectivity
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to troubleshoot of mobile device – GOOD
-Market Data Applications, including Reuters, ICE and Bloomberg
-Ability to work under pressure
-Experience in L1 support specially in Bank industry
