The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas' operational scope in Poland.

Team Leader of Investment Compliance

Main Responsibilities:
· Leading the team, setting objectives, coaching, developing and motivating team members
· Provide technical/knowledge/skills support to the team members
· Be the first of contact for the Investment Compliance legacy location(s)
· Guarantee the timely escalation of problems and highlight incidents to Manager or Head of DFS, or relevant legacy location
· Ensuring a high quality of the investment compliance operations
· Foster innovation and efficiency
· Leading recruitment process of team members
· Coordination of system access, resources and induction to newcomers
· Leading and conducting yearly appraisals process with employees
· Ensure that the workload is equitably balanced in the team
· Lead team meetings on subjects such as information update, organisational issues etc.
· Take part in organising trainings for the team
· Daily controls of the performed work of other team members
· Monitoring of the group e-mail box
· Monitoring KPI's, procedures, SLA, BCP and BIA documentation to ensure they are up to date
· Ensuring the timely delivery of KPIs to legacy location and KPIs & KRIs for IOC management, and any other documentation for ORPC, Compliance, higher management and others
· Resolve any misunderstandings within the team and/or with the client
· Build effective relationship with managers, legacy locations, HR, Risk department
· Deal with any unexpected issues such as system failure, supplier errors, etc
· Taking part in meetings, calls and due diligence visits and maintain communication with management in legacy location, internal and external clients
· Cooperation with other teams in BP2S (e.g. GDM, Engineering teams, INES support team etc) in relation to process automation and safety

Qualifications :

Requirements:

·  Fluency in English as working language; other business languages will be considered as additional value
·  Proven track record of work in operational area – minimum 3 years of experience and proven abilities to effectively manage a team
·  Ability to motivate, inspire and develop others
·  Strong time management and organizational skills
·  Good understanding of funds industry
·  Client focused - able to build productive and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
·  High productivity and precision
·  Good verbal and written communication skills
·  Good interpersonal skills, impeccable manners
·  Commitment and self-motivation
