operations, they will transform the business and ultimately affect how every one of our functions works.

As a new member of our agile team, you will develop core business software to specification and business critical deadlines and provide third level support to ensure the smooth operation of the software systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, support, and optimise the Tallyman solution for Fixed Term.

This will include working with the Infrastructure team to ensure smooth day to day running, code performance analysis and testing

- Provide 3rd level support to ensure core software does not impinge on the smooth running of the business.

Working with the first line support team, providing technical assistance and communicating with end users. This will also cover reporting and checking performance.

- Focus on continual improvement

We anticipate that you will continue to gain knowledge in Unidata file systems and query language, Unibasic programming, Unix operating system and scripting.

- Track record of delivering to time, budget, scope and quality
- Ability to conform to development methodologies and standards
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment with frequent changes.
- Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- BASIC Programming Language, additional desirable knowledge would include: Unidata, Unibasic, Linux, SQL, and .Net Framework
- Appreciate that this is a technology-dependent 24x7x364 business across 2 sites (Belfast and Solihull) so a high level of flexibility and acceptance of working hours to suit business needs
