Within Global Markets, Prime Solutions & Financing Global Business Line (GBL) regroups Prime Brokerage (FX PB and EQD PB), Funding, Securities Lending (FCT), Derivatives Clearing and agency execution (DEC) activities of Global Markets, across asset classes.

Main Objectives and Purpose
Client Solutions team is part of the Prime Solutions & Financing desk, responsible for onboarding and managing clients' relationships within this specific business line.
Location: Client Solution is located within the trading floor along with Sales, Traders and Risk teams of this same business unit.
Reporting line: the Head of Client Solutions PS&F reports to the Head of PS&F.
1- Onboarding:
One of the team's missions is to focus on each client and provide unparalleled service to integrate clients onto the Prime Services platform. The team is located in NY, London, HK and Singapore.
The prime brokerage onboarding team is integral to the overall success of prime services desk. The Onboarding team is often the first interaction a prospect has with the prime brokerage platform, and it is our goal to make the integration onto the platform, efficient and easy for clients.
It reaches this goal by
· Guiding client through documentation
· Creating a customized plan that integrates each client onto the BNP Paribas platform in an efficient and seamless manner.
· Coordinating collaboration between clients and BNP Paribas teams (Sales, legal, credit & risk, compliance, operations, RM teams)
2- Relationship management:
The team also manages client relationships by promoting a boutique-style approach through knowledge of clients and their practices to meet their diverse needs:
· on a day-to-day basis by helping resolve technical and operational issues not solved by our Operations counterparts
· on ad-hoc basis to provide "outside-the-box" solutions and be an efficient interface between our clients and the rest of our product offerings.
This opening role : BNP Paribas is seeking an associate to complete and provide support for the on-boarding part of Client Solutions.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Partner with the Client to work smoothly through all aspects of the account opening process (legal documentation, type of products expected to trade, position transfer, expected go live etc)
· Facilitate the onboarding process by acting as a privileged Client liaison with the rest of the bank: Sales, KYC/AML, Legal, Compliance, Operations and IT teams.
· Coordinate client calls / meetings to update Clients about progress and preempt issues if any
· Follow up with those internal teams to ensure all are processed according to expected deadlines and help to resolve deadlocks if any
· Liaise with the Sales and Relationship managers to ensure seamless transition with clients
· Work effectively on the global prime brokerage onboarding pipeline and communicate on the progress to relevant stakeholders
Desired profile
Required Competencies
Technical Knowledge
· Bachelor or Master Degree
· 3-5 year experience within similar type of role: Prime Services, Onboarding or Hedge Funds
· Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives and / or Fixed Income products
· Language: Fluent English. Chinese Mandarin would be a huge plus
· SFC License will be required shortly after joining

· Adaptability & Change Management: Ability to easily adapt to new situations as this is a constant changing environment
· Escalation & Reporting process: Internal rules of reporting and escalation need to be known & applied. The team member also needs to report any sensitive information/issues and escalate immediately to their management to allow proper time resolution.
