Job description

Main Job Purpose

The Client Documentation function is a critical component of the Securities Services business model, being first point of contact in regard to transitioning in new business for all clients who may include high net worth and Institutional investors, Corporate Trust and Fund Accounting clients.

They are responsible for ensuring all KYC and Due Diligence requirements are adhered to in line with local regulators and BNP Group standards.

Key Responsibilities

· The Client Documentation Officer has responsibility for opening, closing and maintaining accounts in accordance with SLA's and BNP Risk Processes
· Primary responsibilities to provide clients with an excellent first experience in the new business take on process and BAU activities
· Responsibility for obtaining and validating correct documentation, in respect of new account openings for BNPSS Entities, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and appropriate compliance officers
· Responsibility to co-ordinate the account closure process and to monitor activity reporting back to the dedicated compliance officer
· Provide AML statistics, Risk Assessments, Profiles and periodic reviews of CDD Files for presentation and acceptance at appropriate Business Management Meetings
· Record, track and resolve queries in relation to account maintenance. Adhering to the correct policies and procedures
· Obtain, Verify and Maintain CDD documentation required for both BNPSS CI regulatory obligations, its own policy and procedures and implementation of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ( FATCA )
· opulate and maintain core business systems including DDR (Due Diligence Reporting) and MFTA (Multifunds Transfer Agent)
· Contribute to driving continuous improvement of day to day procedures and processes ensuring that legislation and regulatory obligations are adhered to and in line with BNPSS policies
· Maintain communication to clients and front facing staff where necessary to ensure there is sufficient up to date knowledge in respect of any changes in regulation or BNPSS CI & IOM policy and procedures
· Esure all key parties associated with an account are subject to World-check, Lynx and Vigilance verification
· Monitor all account opening for PEPs, sensitive countries and activities, ensuring that enhanced due diligence processes are enacted on such accounts
· Hold the correct level of competencies to maintain business continuity for BNPSS CI & IOM business line entities that the client documentation team interact with
· Provide support with projects and tasks that may be deemed necessary to continue the growth and development of the Client Documentation Team.
