Job description
Specific Areas of responsibility :
· Launch and lead operational projects
- driven by business, regulatory, accounting requirements etc.
- providing the expression of business needs
- coordinating with relevant teams
- ensuring consistency across the world
· Business support, development and organization
- Represent ALMT in local / regional forums as and when required by ALMT Management
- Coordinate answers to auditors, inspectors, regulators requests
- Carry out necessary studies to evaluate the changes in ALMT business line and assist ALMT management in implementing the adaptations
- Assist the local treasurers in solving the daily business issues ﴾including trade booking﴿
- Ensure smooth communication within ALMT APAC teams, actively disseminating information and providing guidance on a wide range of topics (Banking Laws, KYC, Budget etc.)
- Coordinate the delegation letters yearly exercise
· Reporting and Indicators Monitoring
- Provide ALMT management with all the information needed to manage the business
- Ensure the production of a regular management reporting: FO APAC Cash Balance Sheet, RWA follow up, data for ALCOs, ad hoc reports
- Provide reports on possible overdue KYC so treasurers can anticipate and maintain a list of vital names
· Coordinate the budget process
- Act as the pivot between ALMT APAC and Performance Management in APAC on the one hand and ALMT Head Office on the other hand
- Engage and support local treasurers in the definition of their forecast and budget for revenues, controllable expenses and headcounts (bottom up approach)
- Consolidate and review with the Head of ALMT APAC, adjust when necessary, assess the impacts following methodology changes
- Represent ALMT APAC in the functions to métiers budget presentations
- Follow up along the year the Actuals compared to Budget
· PnL Follow Up
- Ensure a comprehensive follow up of the overall PnL for ALMT APAC and facilitate the PnL explain
· Supervision of the operational Risk and Permanent Control tasks :
- Strengthen the Permanent Control Framework
- Follow-up of IG and regulators recommendations
- Coordinate TAC/NAC/IAC
- Monitor, analyze and declare Historical Incidents
- Contribute to an efficient procedure framework
- Perform the Operational Risk Assessment of ALMT
- Contribute to the Territory ICC and Regional ICC
- Maintain an adequate level of documentation/procedures in place and update
· Miscellaneous
- Oversee the BCP process for ALMT APAC: overview of BCPs across APAC and participation to the regional BCP forums ﴾and local when needed﴿
- Ensure that the ALMT APAC Sharepoint site stays continuously updated
