BMI Healthcare’s Huddersfield Private Hospital in Yorkshire has an exciting vacancy for a Director of Clinical Services to join their team of staff within the Senior Management Team. This fantastcially run hospital with a variety of specialities. The hospital is focused on growth and development and more than ever is the patients choice when it comes to care.
We are looking for someone who will work in partnership with the ED to bring innovation and further development, as well as generally drive the business forward and be quite self reliant.
Duties of this role include:
- Facilitate the cost effective management of 24 hour clinical services in The BMI Huddersfield Hospital.
- Co-ordinate and maintain the delivery of services ensuring safe practice and adherence to Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards
- To ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory and best practice frameworks
- To manage 3rd party clinical service providers where appropriate
- To work in partnership with, support and deputise for the Executive Director when required
- To ensure effective systems and processes are in place to satisfy CQC requirements consistently
- Excellent standards of quality care - patient safety number one priority – robust clinical governance framework
It is essential that applicants have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar type role
- Surgical Nursing experience
- Management experience
- Educated to degree level
- Private healthcare experience desirable
