Poste et missions:
The primary role of Product Steward Specialist is to take full responsibility of Product Steward database, process and capability across AP region including:
- Implement product stewardship processes, driving consistency and efficiency across Elkem Silicones businesses in Asia Pacific region, particularly in China.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of ESI products, chemistries and processes. Assure compliance with chemical control regulations and chemical inventory status of all products.
- Maintain and manage product composition database within SAP/EHS ,
- Monitor emerging new regulations and current legislative changes and assess business impact. Provide practical solutions to business in addressing these changes.
- Be in daily contact with local industrial, marketing and research teams in order to follow new product development mainly in Product Steward needs .
- Ensure continuing familiarity with latest local and regional regulatory requirements and provide input for developing SDS and hazard labels. Implement country specific GHS requirements (labels & SDS) in the region
- Identify, build relationships with, and partner with external regulatory consultants, government agencies and other resources to develop depth and breadth of the subject matter expertise.
- Provide Product Steward or regulatory training and information to the impacted business and organizations.
- Coordinate customer requests with global HSE team.
Preliminary training will be done in the Product Stewardship Department for a couple of month in Elkem Silicones France (Lyon)
Profil:
- Master degree or engineer or equivalent, in Chemistry or biology or Toxicology or environmental / Safety studies
- Fluent English and French preferred.
- Fresh graduated is accepted
- Chinese study would be very appreciated
- Possibility after to work 4 to 5 years in China , with further career development in France – Lyon afterwards
