Job description

Blue Lantern Nursing Agency requires a dedicated, professional consultant to work in our head office in Wolverhampton. We are looking for someone who is passionate about healthcare and who ideally has working knowledge of the healthcare industry who enjoy building relationships, have previous experience working within a target driven environment, with excellent organisational and account management skills and a genuine interest in sales and the recruitment industry.

You will be confident and articulate and able to connect with associates and clients alike. An excellent communicator, you will genuinely enjoy talking to people, with the aim of developing business. You will be determined and self-motivated, possessing a positive attitude and the drive to succeed.

Requirements

This role involves booking healthcare staff into appropriate temporary shifts, taking full and accurate vacancy details from clients, and liaising with candidates to fill bookings. You must also be able to match candidate skills to job roles, and also build strong relationships with both candidates and clients. You must have excellent telephone manner and be able to answer incoming calls. The role will also involve an element of sales and developing on existing business - making speculative calls to clients regarding available shifts.

Duties include:

  • Managing client and staff bookings.
  • Ensuring all clients’ needs are met and the most suitable member of staff is booked.
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure our clients receive the best possible standard of care.
  • Liaising with Branch Manager and Out of Hours Team
  • Handling client enquiries, and sending out all relevant documentation.
  • Ensuring all duties are in compliance with CQC regulations, maintaining an understanding of regulations & updating knowledge as required.
  • To be part of the on call team rota, providing out of hours assistance
  • To work in a proactive way with both clients and candidates, utilising available workers to the maximum capacity.
  • Reporting figures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

You will need:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good data entry and typing skills
  • Knowledge of the care service, or experience of working in the healthcare industry
  • Customer service or sales experience
  • Ambitious, imaginative and have strong relationship building skills at all levels.
  • Trainings will be provided
