Digital Marketing Consultant

Job description

We are looking for a full time Digital Consultant who has a good understanding of the digital marketing industry. We are a young and aspiring company that work in the following areas:

- Website design & development
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Social Media Marketing
- Pay Per Click
- Digital Marketing Consultancy

Our main focus is working with tech start ups, marketing agencies and large corporates.

The role will be office based and also include meeting with clients across London and understanding their requirements so to provide tailored solutions to their needs. A good understanding of website design and development and online marketing is vital to come across as knowledgeable in this field. You will therefore have to learn lots about digital marketing and the digital industry. You will be liaising with the Project Manager, Lead Developer and Creative Director and supply accurate estimates based on the timescales to potential leads. You will follow up on the leads provided to you by the Director and also generate your own leads by attending networking meetings and conferences. You must be creative and be able to understand how business operates. A keen interest in digital marketing is desired so that you are able to understand potential clients requirements and then advise the best solutions to meet their needs.

There is no set way in which we want you to work, the role is open to interpretation. You will be set monthly targets by the Director and assisted where necessary if you need support.

If you are interested in producing digital assets such as logos, website designs and advertising material there will also be the opportunity to work on digital projects as and when there is time / a requirement to do so. As long as you are meeting targets and helping develop the Blue Baboon sales pipeline this is fine with us.

Over time, there are opportunities in which employees can be added to your team which you will follow up. Your career can either start or end with Blue Baboon.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements: Post-graduate with a 2:1 degree in a relevant subject.
