The purpose of this role is to assist and support the marketing department in developing effective marketing communications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Get involved with all digital activities, including social media, e-mail marketing and web content management
• Help the Marketing team deliver effective, on brand and on budget materials. Projects assisting on could cover communications such as brochures, POS, EDMs, social media activity, packaging, retailer communications, product instructions, user guides
• Research and reporting; achieved through keeping informed and knowledgeable on latest industry and competitor activity through ongoing research and providing the marketing department, and wider team where required, with useful reports across various areas. Internal reports will also be required
• Deal with website updates and amends. This will include copy amends, uploads, image updates, stock updates, errors
• Deliver a noticeable improvement and increase in forum activity with responses made in an appropriate manner
• Support and Assist with any task or admin based work on an ad hoc basis; this could include sending out product samples to bloggers, researching materials and ideas, assisting with trade show activity, delivering products
• Delivering to deadlines
• Monitor competitor activity

This role requires someone who is hard-working and keen to be part of a fast paced marketing department. Experience and passion for the digital world (SEO, PPC, Social Media) would be advantageous but not essential. Most importantly you need to be prepared to work hard and thrive in a busy environment.
