Sports Trader- Risk Guard

Job description

Purpose of job:

The Sports Trader/ Risk Guard is passionate about sports and together with the Euro Sports Desk is responsible for monitoring events and bets coming from automated Live Odds feeds. This role shall monitor the risk on various matches and keep up to date with any market changes.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Monitor real- time sports events/ results
• Manage the positions of each sport and take action to ensure maximum profitability
• Perform customer analysis
• Monitor customer and bet limits
• Investigate and analyse market trends to obtain insight that assists in the prediction of customer betting patterns

Essential Criteria

• Living in Malta or willing to relocate
• A passion for sports (essential)
• Excellent knowledge/ experience with trading is considered an asset
• Solid experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Tools
• Highly numerate
• A Degree in a quantitative subject is considered an asset
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays
