Intern - PEP (Process)
Internship Médéa, Algeria Design / Civil engineering / Industrial engineering
Job description
Scope
Our Internship Programme is an opportunity for UK and International students to undertake work experience during or after their studies. Applicants must have completed or be studying for a degree. We are looking for an Intern to join Bentley from mid/end of September 2016 for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
We have a placement in Process Improvement within Product Management.
We are responsible for developing and continuously improving the core Product Development Processes. This process (PEP) encompasses development of vehicles from first concept idea through to start of production and on to market entry. This is a truly cross functional activity which touches all parts of the business. This role requires the applicant to work alongside the Product Process manager with the aim of continually improving the Product Development processes.
This involves partners from elsewhere within the VW group and a student with good language and some IT skills would prove invaluable in supporting the cross functional team.
It would be preferable if the student is able to begin the internship from mid/end September 2016 for a period of 6/9 months.
We want you to get the most out of your time at Bentley and when you start you will sit down with your placement manager and discuss your placement objectives - both business and personal. You will then have a set of deliverables, which will really challenge and stretch you, so at the end of the placement you will have developed professionally and personally.
Qualifications
Applicants must be studying for a degree in Business Process or an Engineering related subject.
Applicants should also have intermediate German and English language skills (written and verbal). This position will require some translation skills for technical German.
Please ensure that your qualifications including your current studies are listed in your CV.
Previous Experience
We understand that you may have limited work experience but you should have well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, possess good interpersonal skills, initiative and the enthusiasm to achieve. Quality in our business is top priority and we need individuals who can demonstrate a high focus on quality and a right first time attitude.
Employee Information
This is a paid placement (at minimum wage) plus you will have access to a range of company benefits including holidays and subsidised health club and restaurant facilities.
Please be aware that we receive a large number of applications for our internships and therefore we are sometimes unable to respond to you as soon as we would like. However, all applications will be reviewed and you will be notified of an outcome as soon as possible.
