Whilst the successful applicant will focus towards starting a career within our Strategy Programme Management Office, the Industrial Placement Programme will provide you with a wide range of skills, focus and experience to start the journey towards becoming our next generation of business leaders and technical experts.

The successful IP will be eager and quick to learn, enthused by change and exudes enthusiasm to work within the “BeBentley” Strategy PMO team. Within the Strategy Programme Management Office (PMO) you will be heavily involved in supporting the development of Bentley’s long-term business strategy and the strategic projects that have been set up to ensure the sustainable achievement of Bentley’s long term targets.

 

Our programme is second to none. Working with the support of your Sponsoring Manager, you will be actively contributing to live business projects; leading initiatives in the local community that support our commitment to CSR; developing your German language skills; continuing professional development towards industry qualifications and developing your network of fellow IPs and colleagues across both Bentley and the wider VW Group.

 

The Extraordinary Person

 

Competition is fierce and so are our expectations, only the best need apply.

 

· You must be on course to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 degree in a related subject (achieved or expected).
· You must also be able demonstrate a strong consistent academic record through all your university years and A- Levels (or equivalent).
· Applicants must have a strong understanding of core business management principles.
· Previous experience in the Automotive or related industry through internships, placements or work is highly advantageous.
· A second language, particularly German, would also be beneficial but not essential.
