Video Game Production / QA Intern

  • Internship
  • London (Greater London)

Job description

BeefJack, a creative games company based in London, is offering the opportunity for a passionate intern to experience first-hand the games production process and particularly the conclusion of a game development cycle.

We're looking for someone who's passionate about games and considering a career in the industry. During a two-week stint in our offices you'll learn about the basics of producing a video game and how things come together during the final sprint towards a game's release.

Shadowing the Creative Producer, you will have the opportunity to learn how a small development team steers a project towards release. With a particular focus on quality assurance you will spend hands-on time playing our game and helping the Creative Producer prepare QA reports, identifying bugs, issues and feedback.

You will also have the opportunity to sit in production meetings and learn more about the different roles and how they come into play.

This short-term internship (expenses paid) will take place between 29 August and 9 September 2016 so do not delay in applying! It is perfect for recent games graduates or anyone with an interest in forging a career in the industry. Ideally you will have plenty of experience playing first-person action or adventure games on PC or console.

You will leave with an internship certificate describing the skills you have learned, which you can showcase to prospective future employers.

Apply via InternWise - please include a copy of your CV as well as a covering note explaining why you are applying for the internship and what you hope to gain from the experience.

Closing date for applications is 25 August 2016 and you will need to be available for a short phone conversation during week commencing 22 August 2016.

Make every future a success.
