Job Title: Sales and Account Manager - Office Based

Location: London, SE6

Salary: £22,000 per Annum, Dependent on Experience

At Beco Things we design, manufacture and market eco friendly pet products that are good for the environment but even better for pets.

We launched in early 2009 and since then our in house designers have worked tirelessly to create fun products that are good for the environment without compromising on quality, price or aesthetics. We believe that "eco" living doesn’t have to mean going without and this is the same for pets too.

We’re working hard to deliver a line of innovative, affordable eco-friendly pet toys and accessories that make sustainable purchasing easy for dog and cat owners worldwide. Our range includes products ranging from rabbit bowls to dog beds all made from natural or reused materials. WHAT WE WANT…

We see this as an amazing opportunity for an individual to be part of a small team working hard in a creative environment. Beco Pets is growing rapidly and for the right candidate this offers the potential to grow with it, giving you a fun and fast progressing career. We are looking for an applicant who enjoys sales, working to targets and building strong business relationships. Our products are now stocked in high street chains and independents across the UK as well as distributors and retailers in over 43 other countries worldwide. The successful candidates focus will be on selling to UK pet independents, garden centres and veterinary clinics, mainly over the phone but also in person. The role is a head office role, but there is likely to be some travel within the UK to visit trade shows and customers.


To be successful you will need to hit the ground running, take ownership of the role, be self-motivated, good at selling, organized, positive, curious, driven, and have excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person.

THE ROLE:

  • Strong focus on telesales
  • Oversee the order process, from paperwork, shipping, payments and related communication.
  • Prompt existing customers into re-orders based on existing order patterns.
  • Provide after sales support to customers.
  • Ensure CRM system is kept up to date with contact records.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and distribute accordingly.
  • Help coordinate the implementation of sales strategies and targets

  • Passionate about sales
  • Analytical and good with numbers
  • An excellent communicator (in person, on email and on the phone)
  • Organised and highly motivated
  • Inquisitive and creative, willing to challenge the norm
  • Enjoy being accountable and taking ownership for tasks and job roles
  • Hard working and adaptable
  • Fun and trustworthy
  • Full UK License Holder
  • Available for immediate start
