Beauty Mixx is an exciting new online retailer of cosmetics, makeup and skincare set to shake up the online beauty scene.

We’re bold, daring but most importantly fully representative off all many shades women. The Beauty Mixx customer is young, product obsessed and confident enough to flaunt their own style.

With the autumn launch approaching, we’re now looking for energetic team members to get things ready.

The purpose of the marketing and content manager role is to communicate the company’s vision to our target audience, increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the website.

They’ll be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals.

Key duties

Produce engaging, inspirational and actionable content across all branded platforms including the Beauty Mixx website, blog, newsletters and social media.

Produce and manage digital marketing strategy.

Produce a range of branded creatives including photo, video, static, GIF and other formats for use across the blog, onsite and social media.

Manage and curate the Beauty Mixx blog, including maintaining a content calendar, contributor liaison, uploading and publishing posts.

Improve website traffic and page rank by using SEO tools and copywriting.

Manage the Beauty Mixx social media accounts.

Assist with the development and execution of the content strategy.

Communicate and report on performance and ROI of digital content.

Desired profile

Experience and Requirements:

MUST have a passion for beauty, makeup trends, fashion and popular culture.

Strong photo and video editing skills.

Copywriting experience cross print and web.

Familiarity with basic SEO best practices and keyword research.

High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated usage and passion for blogging and knowledge of Wordpress and other CMS.

Blogging and web publishing experience.

A strong communicator and creative mind.

Exceptional writing skills with impeccable spelling and a hatred of poor grammar and typos.

An exceptional eye for detail.
