Warehouse/Trade Counter - Ceramic Tiles

Job description

We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated and self-motivated good all-rounder to join our growing business. The principal role will be to manage our warehouse - picking customer orders, managing goods-in and goods-out, but the role will involve varied tasks such as helping out on the trade counter serving customers and arranging customer deliveries.

BC Ceramics (www.bcceramics.co.uk) is a small, growing ceramic tiles retailer and distributor, with two sites in St Albans and Gillingham, Kent. We supply trade professionals, property developers, and the general public, as well as distributing tiles to a number of tile, bathroom and kitchen stores across the home counties. We import our products from Europe and further afield.

The Role

- Managing and organising the stock within the warehouse

- Picking customer orders from the warehouse

- Unloading incoming deliveries into the warehouse

- Serving trade counter customers

This is a permanent, full-time role, based at our Rainham, Kent branch.

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm. Saturdays on a rota basis.

- Forklift experience (counterbalance and reach truck)
