Academic Background and Experience:

·  Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, etc.

·  Master's Degree (or equivalent) preferred.

·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position with an international financial institution.

Previous knowledge and languages:

·  Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and has some knowledge in financial modelling.
·  Good knowledge of the corporate and investment banking environment
·  French – fluent.

·  English - fluent.

·  Spanish –fluent.

Soft skills:

·  Entrepreneur mindset. 
·  Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
·  Ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details.

Overview

Integrated in BBVA Corporate and Investment Banking team, the Relationship Banker will support the Senior Bankers in the Global Coverage responsibilities for large French Clients, international leaders in their respective fields.

Main tasks: 

·  Giving general support to Senior Bankers to develop and execute the strategic agenda for his / her designated client portfolio (French international corporate and financial sponsors).
·  Performing internal reporting to BBVA’s executive management.
·  Preparing qualitative and exhaustive credit applications, in collaboration with Risk department, and Capital Allocation committees.
·  Preparing and easing the coordination of different product lines such as Advisory teams (M&A, Debt Advisory and Rating Advisory) , DCM, Syndicated and bilateral Loans, Acquisition Finance, Structured Finance, Global Transaction Banking Solutions, Working Capital Solutions, Hedging  rates in all BBVA’s geographies.
·  Liaising with BBVA’s international network in LatAm, USA, Turkey, Asia and Spain.
·  Preparation of client meetings, organization and monitoring of follow-up process.
·  Supporting the setting up of the Commercial Banking agenda with the designated client portfolio, in close coordination with the relevant product experts and developing client interaction under close supervision of Senior Bankers.
·  Managing operational functions, including client onboarding, KYC, MIFID, Interlocution with Compliance and Audit departments, customers data management in CRM tools.
·  Concurring to the swift integration of interns in the department, if applicable.
