Qualifications:

·  University Degree from a Top Tier University.
·  Financial modeling skills with strong appetence for Excel spreadsheets.
·  Excellent oral and written communication English.
·  Spanish beneficial but not essential.

·  Highly motivated and team player, including proven ability to manage junior resources.
·  Self-starting and goal oriented individual with a strong service and client focus.

This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification . In case the candidate is not certified, they will have to obtain the pertaining certification upon the incorporation to the role.

·  The Global Liability Management Group originates and executes a broad range of strategic fixed income solutions for a multitude of debt issuers ranging from Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Sovereign across all BBVA geographies. The Liability Management Group sits at the intersection of Capital Markets, Advisory and Syndicate helping issuers create more efficient capital structures.
·  This role is very much for a candidate with a strong excel modelling background with working knowledge of Bloomberg, looking to build their experience on the sell side whilst focusing on debt products.
·  In addition to strong interpersonal and communications skills the role requires advanced quantitative skills: Building tailor made financial modelling; perform Cash flow modelling and bond economics, including NPV; understanding of macros/VBA; interest and ability in bond math and relevant cash flow analysis including corporate finance and rates.
·  Manage the day-to-day execution process of transactions under the supervision of a senior team member.
