Job description
We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner, Reward based in our Birmingham (Centre of Excellence). The COE function provides deep expertise and thought leadership in order to develop pan-BBC frameworks and policies that enable the achievement of our organisational strategy and objectives. Using internal and external insight, they will develop leading edge tools that can be deployed that increase engagement, performance and ultimately, value for our audiences.
Role Responsibility
As the HRBP for Reward you will use your internal and external insight as well as understanding of the BBC to develop reward frameworks, policies and tools that enable the BBC to be a world class organisation, an employer of choice and to deliver value to the licence fee payer.
You will be the lead on delivery of specific activities, including the approach and employee engagement for all areas of reward; remuneration benchmarking and management pay as well as equal pay audits. You will be a key contact for remuneration committees, preparing board papers and the remuneration report for the annual report. You will partner with Divisional HR to support specific business challenges around Reward and to provide your specialist expertise and advice to the divisional HR teams on all matters of pay, benefits, grading and job evaluation both within the UK and internationally.
Utilising your data analysis expertise you will support strategic Reward decisions that enable the achievement of our organisational strategy and objectives while balancing value for money, and employee engagement as well as legal compliance.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have specialist reward HR experienced gained in a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders. You will also have up to date expert knowledge of reward practices and approaches (including variable pay and executive pay) within the UK and internationally), and substantial experience of developing, implementing and communicating total reward approaches. You will be comfortable at working with data and drawing insights and conclusions.
