Job description
We’re looking for a Broadcast Journalist to work within our award winning investigations team at BBC South East Today. Our regional TV news programme has a reputation for original journalism and investigations regularly broadcast on BBC 1’s main news bulletins and the News Channel.
Role Responsibility
The successful candidate will work alongside Special Correspondent Colin Campbell. You’ll need to be an excellent journalist with a flair for investigating and originating stories which require longer term input. The ability to shoot your own material and an understanding of television production techniques would be useful but not essential. This role may require working undercover, using covert camera equipment and unpredictable working patterns!
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll have demonstrated you can find powerful, original stories and tell them in a compelling way. The person we’re looking for will have a wide range of contacts. You’ll also have great production ideas, story-telling skills and a sound understanding of what makes great investigative journalism.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
