Role Responsibility

We are looking for a Broadcast Journalist to join the production team for our Mid-Morning show. You will come up with story ideas and treatments that meet our audience’s demands, react to breaking stories and be responsible for planning and researching each edition of the programme. You will build effective relationships with colleagues and contributors and have the confidence to make editorial decisions quickly and calmly.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual who can demonstrate excellent radio productions skills. You should have sound editorial judgment and a creative approach, with the ability to drive the programme, its journalism and presentation team in a positive way. You'll need to be organised, meticulous and use your initiative to deliver local & relevant stories.

6 month Fixed Term Contract / Maternity Cover
