Job Title :UI developer

Grade: BA4
Location : Pune

This role's primary responsibility is to build and deliver the BarclaysNow Desktop and Mobile product. Manage client expectations and demands proactively while maintaining good client relationships, ensure effective application technical design, development and delivery within the required project timescales.
Responsible for defining/understanding the needs of key stakeholders in regards to reporting, analysis, and presentation, and then deliver solutions that meet or exceed these needs.
Utilizing the Barclays defined best practices, standards and tools during design, development, integration, documentation and support.
Responsible for ensuring the appropriate development methodologies are selected and adhered to throughout the supply chain (Agile, SDLC etc.)
Develop strong working relationships with various teams to ensure successful delivery.

What will you be doing?
o This technical role is responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing and documentation of changes/new requirements coming to BarclaysNow in order to extend and enhance the functionality of the product to achieve various business objectives.
o Developing and maintaining strong relationships across key stakeholders
o Liaising, and working closely, with the peers within and outside team, keeping the stakeholders updated on progress against milestones.
o Highlight and managing risks and issues via effective controls and standard Barclays processes
o Enhance and improve the application development capability of own team and via automation and innovation.

What we're looking for:
o Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
o Relevant years of experience with UI tech stack
o Using HTML 5, Javascript, CSS,Jquery, Lodash, Java, JSP, Struts 2
o Angular 4, Responsive grid framework, Twitter bootstrap, Ionic
o SASS, Less ,Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, Node.js, Jasmine, Protector, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
o Application servers (Tomcat, Apache, NGINX) and Version Control Software ( Git)

Skills that will help you in the role:
o Business process change experience
o Demonstrable history of having provided innovative and workable solutions to business problems
o Strong spoken & written communication skills.
o Knowledge of Service now and Jira
o Server side technologies
o Development experience with Android would be a great advantage
