Technical Analyst
Northampton

As a Technical Analyst, you will provide accreditation analysis of all devices that communicates with Barclaycard Business Solutions authorisation and settlement systems. You will ensure the provision of reliable and stable products to our customers.
You will carry out formal onsite testing of Chip & PIN solutions to prove the proposed live solutions.

What will you be doing?

• Liaise with developers, suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate resolution of accreditation issues
• Provide specialist technical support and consultancy both internally & externally as required by the Implementation Manager/Customer.
• Complete each accreditation in a timely and quality manner

What we're looking for:

• Solid analytical skills with good planning and organisational skills.
• Attention to Detail is vital to avoid any major chargeback's, transaction rejections or non-compliances.
• Ability to learn new skills and maintain existing high skill sets through monitoring standards and technical changes
• Ability to interpret technical information and present in an suitable style (written, numeric or verbal)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Working knowledge of Barclaycard Business authorisation system
• Working knowledge of Barclaycard Business settlement system
• Knowledge of APACS standards (Association for Payment Clearing Services)
• Knowledge of EMV standards (Europay, MasterCard and Visa)
