SAP Finance Technology team within Functions Transformation department is a key partner to Finance teams across Barclays in enabling and delivering Global Services and Solutions for the Business, primarily via the bank's enterprise SAP platforms.

Overall purpose of role:

To participate in Project development activities for the small projects/minor work stream for SAP projects, provide critical Level-3 support. In order to perform complete project deliverables from Pune.

Role has key responsibility for Delivery of AMME related changes, covering Requirements Analysis, Impact Analysis, Design, Configuration, Development, Documentation, Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Regression Test, Production Cutover, Data Migration, Post Production Support for AMME application

Technical responsibility includes Design, Develop and Deliver high quality SAP CE Developments and enhancements. To follow Barcap's standard development processes and procedures during development work.

Estimate the assigned Tasks and prepare Tech Design Documents.

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

o Key specific accountabilities.

Delivery of projects and enhancement/maintenance requests for AMME, encompassing:

§ Requirements gathering and communication to Business users

§ Analysis of requirements

§ Functional specifications and Design

§ Development

§ Documentation

§ Unit & System Test

§ Support UAT and Regression Testing

§ Conduct User Training

§ Provide detailed documentation to the production support team

§ Adhering to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes & documentation

§ Take responsibility for implementation of changes to ensure no incidents associated with the change after cutover to production

§ Quality Assurance and overall integrity of the changes made.

§ Work in partnership with other Technology teams and provide SAP consultative service to Business Units.

o Stakeholder management and leadership.

· Work with global business IT & projects teams to ensure seamless support for the business

· Provide technical support during the major production issues in the SAP estate – Facing off to the service management team in understanding the business impact and the steps to address.

· Actively identify efficiency improvement opportunities and work on service improvement plans

o Decision making and problem solving.

· Interface with business users for problems that require permanent fix and provide suggestions / solutions, where feasible

· Work closely with other developers to assist in designing of new AMME implementation.

o Risk and Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

Your Skills and Qualifications will include:

· At least 3 years in-depth SAP CE hands-on development, project implementation and production support experience

· Key expertise in SAP BPM, BRM

· In-depth understanding in SAP Web Dynpro Java development

· Understanding of SAP UI5 - Preferred

· Experience in project management

· Must have implemented at least 1 full life-cycle SAP CE projects

· Some experience with Portal Objects, User Administration and System Administration

· Team player

· Excellent problem solving skills

· Strong analytical and logical skills – the ability to resolve issues in a high-pressure environment.

· In depth Knowledge of software development ‘best practices' and software development life cycle.

· Very effective communicator. Should have excellent written and verbal English language skills

· Able to quickly learn and adapt

· Able to work well with IT teams and stakeholder in multiple locations.

· A thorough approach to work.

· Happy to get involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including documentation, testing and implementation support.

· Able to present complex subjects to a range of different audiences
