Department Name: Private Bank Overseas Solutions (BI) / Wealth & Investments (BUK)

Role Purpose
· As a member of the Reward Team, support the implementation of the Reward strategy for the two legacy elements of the Wealth business - Private Bank Overseas Solutions (in Barclays International) / Wealth & Investments (in Barclays UK)
· Support and facilitate the delivery of best practice reward solutions through the provision of practical analytical activity, specific research and administrative support
· Support the embedding of the Reward model, providing a consultancy & practice service which is viewed both internally and externally as a true specialist practice with world-class capability
· Participate as an active member of the Reward and Performance Team, supporting Business Areas across BI and BUK and initiatives and projects as required

Key Accountabilities
· Own and operate the models/calculations that inform the business' discretionary incentive and salary budget proposals
· Support the successful delivery of the annual pay review process. Specifically, reconciling and providing analysis/reporting
· Support the AVP Reward Managers and Head of Reward in all matters of Reward across both PBOS and W&I and where required the wider BUK or BI remit
· Data analysis and spreadsheet manipulation as required. Ability to translate this data analysis into tangible summary/recommendations
· On-going management of team in-box and provision of first line response to HR Managers and Reward colleagues
· Facilitate the out of cycle salary increase and promotion process
· Contribute to data gathering, analysis and interpretation in relation to major group wide reward projects and process development, such as market data and the annual salary review
· Support pan BUK, BI and pan-Group Reward initiatives (as appropriate) as allocated, both individually and as part of a team
· Operate appropriate and strong reward governance in a controlled manner
· Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards
· Ability to create Reward ‘product'/output to a professional/consulting standard

Person Specification
· The right candidate will be able to demonstrate that they are comfortable working within high pace and detail oriented environments, whether within Financial Services or outside Financial Services (Management Consultancy, etc.)
· The candidate will have experience in analytical or compensation and benefits roles, which may include some experience of complex incentive environments
· The candidate will have key competencies that include excellent numeracy, verbal reasoning, and analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills, experience of manipulation and interpretation of large volumes of data, and a strong eye for detail is a must
· Has operated in a fast-paced, complex, multi-disciplined business environment where change is constant and demanding
· The right candidate will be fluent in the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills
· Constantly seeks to develop relevant technical knowledge
· Team-player, collaborative and flexible
· Client-focused
