We are currently hiring for a Premier Relationship Banker to join us for a 6 month contract based in Sunderland
As a Barclays Premier Relationship Banker, You will be responsible for managing a regional portfolio of Premier customers as part of a virtual regional team, ensuring they receive relevant and timely contact. You will be a ‘pleasure to do business with', demonstrated by the tone of your voice, your skills and problem solving techniques. You will be passionate about delivering excellent service to your regional portfolio of customers, and if you do not have the right knowledge yourself, you will actively involve the right specialist at the right time to work as one team for the customer.

Working from our office in the heart of Sunderland, You will work collaboratively with other Telephony and Premier Banking colleagues to deliver a great customer experience through the provision of a high quality service, creating and providing solutions for our Premier Core customers that balance their short-term and long-term needs. Through your actions and behaviours, you will help to make Barclays become the Go-To' bank, helping people achieve their ambitions – in the right way
As an Premier Relationship Banker, your main responsibilities will involve:
· Proactively welcome customers to a regional portfolio of Premier Core accounts via outbound calling (those customers who have 75k income and/or over 100k assets).
· Reactively manage via inbound calls, collaboratively with a group of other Premier Relationship Bankers, the regional portfolio in line with the contact strategy to deliver strong relationships with your customers
· Assist with reviews of the regional portfolio on a regular basis and manage customer transfers into, and out of, the portfolio as appropriate.
· Use the insight that the Contact Tool provides to effectively differentiate contact and have your customers feel that every conversation is valuable, as it is tailored to their needs. Always be professional and appropriately friendly. Build trust and tell your customer your name and what you will/can do for them.
· Be viewed as a Trusted Premier Relationship Banker by establishing and developing opportunities to meet customers' needs, introducing and working in conjunction with the branch teams and other telephony colleagues. You can book a face-to-face appointment for your customer in a local branch if needed
As an Premier Relationship Banker, your skills and qualifications will include:
· Understands customers' journeys and life events to reactively support customer moments
· Commercially aware – demonstrates knowledge of current market/industry
· Proactively seeks to strengthen the relationship with every interaction
· Takes initiative to resolve issues
· Able to demonstrate understanding of contact strategy and effective management of a portfolio of customers
· An understanding of the Premier proposition, its relevance to into the wider branch offering and the UK economic market
