Customer Advisor

Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week between 7am and 8pm - Monday to Friday, working on a shift basis.


As a Barclays Customer Advisor – Moment Banker based in Douglas, Isle of Man, you'll be putting yourself in the customer's shoes to understand how everyday products and services can help our customers now and in the future, and how they are most appropriate for their needs. You'll offer a professional, caring, consistent and outstanding level of customer service, building a trusting connection with your customer. Through engaging in conversations and active listening you'll proactively do the right thing for your customers by understanding their short, medium and long term needs.
Our Customer Advisor -Moment Bankers help to deepen customer relationships and help to grow the business and strengthen the Barclays brand in the community, while working collaboratively with other Barclays colleagues and living Barclays purpose and values.

As a Customer Advisor – Moment Banker, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Providing an exceptional customer experience that helps customers to achieve their ambitions and meets their day to day banking needs.
• Proactively applying knowledge and skills to identify opportunities and appropriate solutions to meet customers' needs.
• Ensuring that customers feel valued, and being confident and knowledgeable enough to make decisions that lead to good customer outcomes.
• Accurately complete administration activities such as updating customer records and building customer contact information

As a Customer Advisor – Moment Banker, your skills and qualifications will include:

• Experience of operating in a customer-facing or telephony role where excellent customer service is paramount.
• Proven ability to meet performance standards.
• Experience of dealing with complex customer queries and complaints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3. Interview: If you're successful at assessment we'll invite you to attend a face-to-face interview. We want you to be free to choose an interview time that suits you, so we'll provide some options and ask you to select your preferred timeslot via an online booking system.
4. Outcome: Following your interview, we'll be in touch within five working days of all interviews being completed to advise you of the outcome.
