Job description

The purpose of the role of an Organizational Change Manager (OCM) is to ensure high quality issue management for change processes in Barclays AT. This role focuses on the “people side” of change, including changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles and organisational structures. This role will strive to adopt best practices in Organizational Change Management and drive effective adoption of changes impacting employees in the organisation so that the desired business results are achieved.


Key Responsibilities

·  Adherence to change management processes and methodologies
·  Organisational Change Management Governance
·  Develop and agree the OCM Scope, Strategy and Plan, with the Lead OCM and the project manager
·  Assist Level 2 OCM in assessment of the change impact and readiness for change initiatives, identifying key barriers
·  Assist Level 2 OCM in development of specific change management plans (e.g. stakeholder management, training, coaching, communications and resistance management)
·  Review the transition plan and update the activities required for transition
·  Ensure that a feedback mechanism is in place before, during and after the transition is implemented
·  Prepare analysis for the Lead OCM to review the expected benefit data with the baseline with the Executive Sponsor, PM and Business stakeholders
·  Evaluate change initiative through Post Implementation review

·  The appointment will be made in line with the Divisional Employment Equity strategy

Desired profile

·  Commerce or business administration, compulsory.
·  PROSCI (Professional and Sciences) (or other recognized OCM) certification, advantageous.
·  Minimum 3 years' Experience.
·  Experience working at change consultant level on projects in a multi-functional organisation, advantageous.
·  Exposure in Benefits Management.
·  Expertise in Business process improvement.
·  Exposure in Knowledge of Banking and Financial Services Business.
·  Exposure in Organizational change management.
·  Exposure in Stakeholder Management.
·  No Criminal Record

Preffered Qualifications :

·  Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status
