Overall purpose of role:

· Delivery of SAP HR related change through development to the production application. Responsibilities include:

· Design the SAP HR configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.

· Use the business process requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics

· Assist in defining and reviewing requirements for the application

· Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements

· Work alongside other designers and developers in completing designs

· Inform the technical architect and Scrum Master/ project manager of any issues that may affect delivery or other areas of the project

· Participate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements

· Complete all appropriate documentation required by the developers, testers, deployment team, and application management team that will maintain the application.

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

This section should include:

o Key specific accountabilities.

o Delivery of projects or small change (ITHRs) for SAP HR, encompassing:

o Requirements gathering from the client

o Production of functional specifications

o Analysis of requirements and provision of technical advice where necessary

o Involvement /sign off of Engineers should the design require it

o Configuration of SAP HR modules

o Unit & system testing of changes

o Support for UAT

o Provision of detailed transition documentation to the support team

o Support of the deployment of changes

o Adhering to standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes & documentation

o Take responsibility for implementation of changes to ensure no incidents associated with that change are raised,

o Stakeholder management and leadership.

o Communication or progress and blockers/ impediments to users and updating Scrum Master/ Project Manager

o Decision making and problem solving.

o Third-level application support for SAP HR, resolving incident and problem records.

o Provide support and guidance to L1/L2 RTB colleagues

o Risk and Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

Your Skills and Qualifications will include

o Ability to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels

o SAP HR experience to include:

o ECC6 and SAP SuccessFactors (preferred)

o Demonstrable track record of previous work on major ECC6 implementations.

o Key Expertise in:

§ SAP Process Design and Configuration

§ SAP HR modules Including: OM, PA, UK Payroll, Time

§ Demonstrable experience of refining ambiguous business requirements and mapping them to SAP functionality.

§ Gathering functional requirements and mapping to SAP HR functionality, performing gap analysis. Creating appropriate design documents. Contributing to all aspects of development lifecycle.
