Job description

Job Title : GMD Workflow - MRM Governance (AVP)

Job Location : Noida

- Primary support in Model Inventory management requests to help retain integrity of GMD (authoritative data source of model across the bank)

- Guide Model Ownership Areas and IVU users in GMD functionalities

- Support team in UAT for GMD enhancements in a timely manner

- Project Management and Business Analysis for GMD and Reporting team

- To play a key role in enhancing Group Model Database(GMD) which hosts ~1500 models

What will you be doing?

- One of the key member in the team to resolve daily model inventory management requests in GMD

- Guide Model Ownership Areas and IVU users on GMD functionalities

- Perform UAT in timely manner to help GMD enhancements

- Project Management and Business Analysis for GMD and Reporting team

- Create business requirements documents for the GMD enhancements

- Provide Business Analysis for GMD Development

- Provide Project Management for GMD development

- Drive system UAT

- Work with IT to manage system rollout.

- Support in training users for each new release of GMD

- Look to continuously improve the control environment, user experience and automation

What we're looking for:

· Functional Experience

a. Experience in speaking to end users to gather requirements

b. Gap Analysis and traceability matrices.

c. Diagrams – Process Flow, UML, BPMN, Swimlane.

d. Tracking action items and deliverables for both users and technical teams.

e. Exposure to one or more lifecycle methodologies – SDLC, Waterfall, Agile/Scrum.

f. Prior experience working with Vendors.

· Technical Exposure – web based application development.

a. Awareness of full stack development – Node.js, React/Angular/Vue, MEAN stack, RESTful APIs.

b. Awareness of cloud based systems (i.e. basics of design and deployment).

c. Awareness of data management tools, e.g. ETL, SQL/RDBMS. NoSQL a plus.

d. Awareness of reporting and DataViz tools (Tableau, Qlik etc).

· Team working - Ability to work with and in cross-functional and virtual teams across locations.

· Conceptual thinking – Ability to think strategically and ability to focus on the whole portfolio of MRM activities

· Communication - Strong communication skills with the ability to package ideas and results in a logical, understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Quality and Controls – Ability to assess validity of work delivered

· Planning and Organisation – Ability to prioritise work in order to maximise value for the business; Considering the tight timelines assigned to the creation of the workflow, ability to deliver quickly and under pressure is essential.

· Organisational awareness – Ability to see the ‘whole picture' and recognise the impact and opportunities of activities across the organisation.

Skills that will help you in the role:

· Domain Knowledge – Banking & Finance

a. Awareness of various asset classes

b. Awareness of the various parts of an investment bank.

c. Exposure to financial modeling a plus.

d. Exposure to statistical math a big plus
