As a Developer supporting Barclays you'll be working in our ventures team on banking of the future projects that influence the way we handle millions of trades and how we secure the billions of pounds that flow through our systems.

What will you be doing?

• Accountable for end-to-end system technical designs to understand impact on applications / products within domain.
• Control changes to end-to-end system designs to determine impact on applications / products within domain.
• Understand the various phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Review and understand component designs to build knowledge and understand how these fit within an end-to-end system design.
• Collaborate and communicate with other developers to build efficient technical solutions.
• Manage all software engineering quality standards / benchmarks
• Technical leadership for application – defining standards, architecture, development methodology

What we're looking for:

• AWS Developer or Architecture Experience
• Experience with Java, C or C++
• DevOps pipeline experience
• Proven ability of working within an Agile environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of Frameworks HTML5, Angular, Ionic, ReactNative
• Financial services experience.
• Appreciation of existing Barclays Mobile Apps & development practises
• Golang experience

Where will you be working?

We are set in the beautiful countryside of Knutsford, and have lots to on offer to our employees including: Dress down code every day, an onsite gym, remote working, Starbucks, family fun days, Astro turf, Tennis courts and much more. We also offer a free shuttle bus service from Knutsford train station to the site in the morning and from the site back to the train station in the evening.
