Monitoring and Control (M&C):

M&C activity involves obtaining, reviewing and assessing appropriate information from a variety of sources including direct discussion with coverage, to ensure the customer is performing within agreed terms and conditions (or better) and can reasonably be expected to continue to perform in a similar manner in the foreseeable future. Also it involves escalating any breach or material adverse change or trend to the appropriate stakeholders.

About Lending Operations

Lending Operations is part of Corporate Operations, and is made up of:

• Credit Analysis and M&C

• Operational Readiness (incorporating Rigour/Int. Controls)

• Post-Sanction Fulfilment & Collateral

Overall purpose of role:

o A member of Noida Lending Operations responsible for undertaking M&C for a wide range of mid corporate customers for coverage teams in the UK. Generalist Analyst working on a wide range of industries and businesses

o Undertake financial calculations for Mid Corporate customers in line with the M&C procedures and working in partnership with the Credit Managers and Post Sanction Case Managers, Coverage Team, servicing team and other specialists to ensure that we provide a joined up service to our customers at all times

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

· Continuously monitor the service request queue on the Siebel workflow tool to check for new requests

· Complete all service requests within the stipulated timeframe to ensure that the team's SLA is met

· Raise repair on the Siebel workflow tool and liaise with RSMs/RDs for timely resolution of repairs

· Upload annual accounts on Zeus in accordance to the M&C procedures

· Monitor the Zeus inbox for internal reporting alerts

· Take ownership of urgent credit related matters such as breaches

· Liaise with the RSMs/RDs to provide technical input in connection with proposed monitoring and control to ensure it is correctly reflected in Zeus and the facility documentation

· Keep up to date to the changes in procedures and guidelines

· Attend team meetings and contribute to environment of mutual support by sharing knowledge with other team members

o Stakeholder management and leadership.

· Act as liaison for risk management purposes with RD's, RSM's, Credit and other relevant people

· Liaise with the Operations Manager and Head of Monitoring and Control team, providing feedback to aid performance development for other members of the Lending Operations

· Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the Group

o Decision making and problem solving.

· Use of conceptual knowledge for correct calculation of wide variety of complex covenant and triggers and a brief write-up on the key trends in accordance to Zeus M&C procedures

· Contribute to environment of mutual support by sharing knowledge with other team members

o CA/CFA/FRM or Post-graduate or MBA
