About Corporate Sales
There are 6 Sales teams within Corporate Sales, 4 Regional team supporting customers with card turnover from 4M-200M. Then 2 Strategic Team, a UK team supporting Tier 1 customers with 200M+ card turnover and our International Strategic team supporting businesses outside the UK. We are the UK's Largest Acquirer have 36% market share and are the second largest acquirer in Europe with growth plans globally with particular focus on expansion into the US.
Overall purpose of role
To provide a service to the wider Sales teams that creates the best possible customer outcomes and experience for Corporate Sales colleagues. The role holder will work alongside multiple areas of the business including, but not limited to, Sales, Operations and Retail technology, Credit Risk office with the aim of managing customer interactions of a non-contractual or commercial nature. They will also be responsible for delivering and implementing special projects. Key responsibility is to support the delivery of optimising the way Corporate Sales Managers use their time in order to maximise income delivery.
What you'll need?
· Complete New Customer Application Paperwork and collect all relevant KYC documents.
· Submit New applications and progress with Application Process team until MID's are raised.
· Update Salesforce daily with new MID's and ensure customer contact details are correct.
· Prepare information for customer meetings as appropriate.
· To provide support with some mid-size to strategic sized implementations (15 Merchant ID+) that do not meet the criteria for full management from the Implementation team (30 Merchant ID's+) and proactively liaise with merchant once MID's having been raised and agree live dates.
· Supporting the Corporate Sales Managers and owning work with Credit Risk teams, the Tender Management Team and the Pricing Team to manage the evaluation and execution of large sales proposals in response to tender
· Contribute towards customer service and satisfaction based on CSAT and Barclay's Group internal satisfaction surveys
· Work with the Team Leaders on projects related to process improvement, campaign planning and execution
· Assistance with Complaint Handling for Customers
· Support with re-pricing activity for large customer groups Trade Associations/Franchisees
· Manage the flow of internal comms and stakeholders through internal channels and networks
· To provide ongoing support to up to 16 Corporate Sales Managers building strong working relationship.
· Clients and prospective clients across Corporate Sales.
· Credit Risk teams, the Tender Management Team and the Pricing Team
· Working with Team Leaders to prioritise tasks
Essential Knowledge and Expertise:
· Thorough, detailed knowledge business and operational/sales structures and processes.
· Knowledge of the card acquiring schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics interchange and future product/service deliverables.
· In-depth knowledge of the card acquiring industry and competitor solutions.
· An up-to-date knowledge of industry related technical development
· Thorough knowledge of the Business to Business sector.
· Fully aware of Industry trends (UK and overseas).
· Total awareness of, and focus upon, the interests and relationships in existence with any prospective customer.
· A full sales/business development, implementation or relevant service-related background.
· Proven customer skills with the ability to build, maintain and leverage relationships at all levels, for the benefit of all parties.
· Demonstrably strong communication skills, with the proven ability to present both concepts and technical/operational information at all levels within a solution-sales environment.
· May have experience in the Business to Business Financial Services Sector.
· Understanding of Credit Risk Process, procedures and policy.
