Overall purpose of role:

Securitized Products Operations is responsible for the supporting all trading and sales activity within the Securitized products asset class. The Securitized Products Operations team is expected to focus on controlling and safeguarding the firm's assets while ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing, confirmation, settlement of transactions and minimizing risk in a well controlled environment. Main Function: Securitized Products candidate will liaise with the Trading Desk and third party mortgage originator to coordinate the funding, servicing, and maintenance of residential mortgages being pledged to the Warehouse Line. Analyst will also perform daily funding of Participation Certificates once pools have been certified for trading.

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

o Ensure that fees, interest, and principal activity is collected, processed, and recorded in our residential whole loan inventory and sub-ledger systems

o Ensure the accurate set-up and maintenance of static and transactional data on all Bank Systems and databases relating to client and deal information, via regular review of discrepancy and balance reports

o For unresolved items, provide detailed commentary and explanations for discrepancies including estimated time frames for resolution

o Coordinate daily funding of residential whole loans with multiple clients, where attention to detail and an efficient turnaround.

o Process daily funding of Participation Certificates prior to securitization. Work with Clients and take out investors to ensure trades are accurate and matched on FICC.

o Review and process all incoming remittance reports and obtain any missing reports or data

o Reconcile the residential loan level data booked in our residential whole loan inventory system against the firm's books and records

o Maintain necessary files, both computerized and manual learn numerous operating systems (SP Cats, IMPACT, LION, CPP, etc)

o Monitor all incoming and outgoing funds in the DDA's and advise and investigate any un-reconciled items

o Engaging with and managing Business and IT relationships throughout Project Life cycle

Risk and Control Objective: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Your Skills and Qualifications will include

o Basic Qualifications

o Bachelor's Degree

o 1+ years experience of Warehouse Lending

o 1+ years industry experience

o Preferred Qualifications

o Understanding of mortgage life cycle from origination through securitization.

o Knowledge of the front to back process in an environment of investment banking

o Understand operational risks

o Proven ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels including interacting effectively with other key areas within the bank e.g. IT, MO, FO, Ops Control

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

o Advanced user of Microsoft Excel/Outlook

o Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple time sensitive deadlines

o Prior experience with reconciliations a plus
