Job Title Solution Architect
Location Knutsford
The Solution Architect is responsible for the solution and high level design activities for projects across a Platform within Client Treasury Services (approx. 60-70% of role). They will be required to develop a detailed understanding of the Product and work with internal stakeholders to ensure that a performant and scalable solution is delivered that aligns to all relevant architecture and strategic principles, whilst meeting the external business stakeholder requirements.
What will you be doing?
• Supporting the Lead Solution Architect and Platform Owner in defining and executing the strategy and roadmap for the BMAP application (approx. 30-40% of role)
• Project engagement: Review new demand, decide whether Concept Solution or Architecture Vision will be needed
• Documenting the solution online sufficiently for Lean Control Tool (LCT) Engagement Questionnaire
• Analyzing and Designing Deliverables: Produce Concept Solution, support requirements analysis
• Consulting with Business Analysts to help define Functional Requirements and Non-Functional Requirements, create E2E Design / High Level Design / Architectural Vision
• Ensuring solutions in align to standards and strategy, setup and support feasibility studies or Proof of Concepts
• Application-level architecture, roadmaps and standards: Application specific roadmaps
What we're looking for:
• Strong experience in creating technical documents such E2E Design / High Level Design / Architectural Vision
• Experience in relevant technologies (.Net/SQL/AWS) or equivalent technologies
• Experience in application integration technologies (MQ, C:D, APIs) or equivalent technologies
• Experience in application infrastructure both on premises, external, and Public Cloud (AWS) or equivalent
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Understanding of Banking and Financial Services Industry
• Understanding of Cash Management domain
• Professional certifications e.g. TOGAF or equivalent work experience
