The Risk Intent is to provide world class risk management, supporting sustainable growth.

· Protect Barclays from a volatile and weak external environment by managing risk appetite and mandate and scales at appropriate levels, and ensuring that activity across products and geographies takes into account external developments

About [CRIS]
CRIS is responsible for producing MIS reports for various stakeholders in the Corporate Risk Portfolio.

Overall purpose of role

To effectively and efficiently complete the Risk Reporting requirements and to ensure that quality of output and accuracy of information is maintained.

Key Accountabilities

§ Adhere to the Service Level Agreement (SLAs) set by business

§ Ensure adherence to time schedules

§ Complete the Logs/ Reports as required by the process

§ Participation in customer calls / conference calls from UK for reporting.

§ To be aware of and comply with any updates about the process

§ Assist the Team leader/team manager in his activities or any help that he may require

§ Assist other executive/s who are new to the process, in any problems faced by them, without affecting their own productivity

§ Act on the feedback given by TL and TM or on the coaching provided to the Team as guidelines for improving performance

§ Provide inputs to improve work procedures that can enhance overall team performance

§ Adhere to HR policies (dress code, leave policy) etc.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

The role is expected to have regular meetings with the CRIS team in the UK besides having regular interaction with the stakeholders in the Corporate Risk function.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

The role will be responsible for the reports produced and should also be able to analyse the numbers produced in the report and provide commentary either orally / in writing to the stakeholders.
