About CECoE – BSS Risk and Governance

CECoE is a right shore risk and control team, specializing in the delivery of innovative risk solutions, split between an onshore team in London and an offshore team in Noida, India (66). CECoE provides controls assurance, operational and key risk reporting, research and analytics and supplier analysis services to customers across Barclays. Customers include Barclaycard, Europe RBB, Africa and ABSA business units, in addition to Group IRM, Barclays CRES, Governance, and Control & Legal Etc.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The role holder will be accountable for forward planning, prioritization to ensure accurate and timely preparation of the MI. The role holder will set the benchmark for “best of breed” solutions to the MI preparation. The role holder will maintain a continual focus on improving efficiency and consistency. In more detail:

·  Provide daily, weekly and monthly analysis
·  Reporting and Development (R&D) - Work with onshore Line of Business partners to understand their reporting and analytics requirements/process in order to seamlessly convert data into actionable metrics that will help the business perform day to day operations
·  Identify fields in data repository which require completion to provide accurate management information, compile list, communicate fixes required and follow up.
·  Extract data and analyse it to identify duplicate data or data requiring re-mapping, compile list of suggested fixes, communicate fixes, and obtain approval process fixes.
·  Process ad hoc data loads from Business Units
·  Produce standard set of reports at required frequency to distribute via e-mail or common site (Share point)
·  Produce MI highlighting data inconsistencies and data incompleteness
·  Monitor trends in meeting deadlines or extending deadlines
·  Capture: Collaborate with the business and metric owners to analyze how the data is captured to understand all of the inputs (source systems, location/individuals, manual feeds, automation etc.) The BI Analyst should recommend the most efficient manner for capturing the raw data and work with business partner where an efficiency change may support entry of data, at that required level
·  Collection : This job requires detailed coordination of data from specific metric/risk owners and integrating the design (technology or process to aggregate it in desired format), implementation, and support
·  Reporting : Work with Business partner(s) on reporting solution, schedule, editing, and distribution.
·  Deal with requests for ad hoc reports from onshore stakeholders
·  Organize and coordinate implementation of tasks to ensure compliance with goals and unit objectives, as well as maintenance of optimal operating efficiency within the unit.
·  Work closely with stakeholders involved and build strong relationships with them
·  Maintain strong working relationship with CECoE Service Managers, peer group and junior team members, and demonstrate Barclays Values and Behaviours at all times
·  Responsible for performance development and personal training / development plans of assigned resources.
