Department Overview

BTCI UK Branch will manage the delivery of services from BTCI in India to Barclays global stakeholders and ensure that the services are consistently maintained. BTCI UK Branch will also manage the relationship with non-India suppliers who supply BTCI. This arrangement will allow a more efficient delivery of services to and from BTCI while ensuring that all delivery standards and agreements are met, acting as first point-of-contact where issues arise and to working to resolve these. Role Purpose
· Represent Barclays Technology Centre India (BTCI) in the UK.
· Ensure accurate and reliable reporting of all financials for the BTCI UK branch.
· Develop and produce MI to reflect the performance of the Branch
· Liaise with Indian BTCI colleagues to develop/produce holistic MI to reflect the contribution of the Branch to the overall entity
· Ensure all tax/statutory compliance is followed/delivered, as directed by the Head of UK Branch
· Support the management of all identified risks for the BTCI as they relate to service delivery in the UK
· Support ad hoc strategy initiatives as they arise

Key Accountabilities
· Strategy, Governance and Analytics (90%)
· Support the engagement with BUK/BC&I/O&T & Group Finance in the UK to ensure a joined up view of the costs and benefits of BTCI, co-ordinating regular forecasts and responding to ad hoc requests
· Develop, produce and circulate/socialise monthly MI for the UK branch; lead regularly monthly review meeting with Head of Barclays BTCI and Head of UK Branch.
· Support the management of UK year-end external audit and external and internal control audit requirements
· Assist the Head of UK Branch in developing strategy-initiatives, exploring opportunities and developing Business plans as required
· Initial point of contact for workforce planning for India and MI to show workforce and the interacting-impacts on wider Group resource of off-shoring, liaising closely with the existing on-shore Workforce Planning teams.
· Support the Governance & control function, liaising closely with Service Delivery manager and Barclays Governance & Control teams to ensure that all work delivered on-shore is to the set-standards and SoX compliant where required.

Person Specification
· Knowledge of the Barclays' Indian Service Companies business
· Understanding of the legal and tax construct for the Branch and the BTCI
· Understanding of Barclays' processes
· Excellent Stakeholder management skills
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools, especially Powerpoint
