Overall job purpose of - The Technical Delivery Manager acts as a servant-leader and coach to the team, creating and maintaining the conditions that allow the team to be successful, and ensuring the team has the resources that it needs. He/she manages the Siebel deliveries with high quality and as per Barclays Standard.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Key member of the Siebel development team to ensure a successful and high quality delivery of build
· Experience on Siebel workflow, Config and scripting with full lifecycle implementation of the technical components of a Siebel solution.
· Experience on designing real time interface with hands on experience on EAI, Siebel Web services, Workflows, Scripts, EAI data mapper, Siebel tools configuration, Siebel data model,
· Knowledge / Experience on VBC, EBC, Data Maps and Import Objects
· Should have worked in distributed delivery model i.e. onshore / offshore model
· Ensure all required deliverables are produced in a timely manner to a high specification adhering to Barclays standards with full documentation that will allow a successful transition at the end of the project to the business as usual team.
· To provide innovative solutions to our business needs by delivering and assisting in managing all stages of a customer project including demonstrations, design, development and implementation
· Should have good knowledge on Siebel modules
· Consult with customers on implementation and maintenance of customized Siebel implementations
· Work with the team, Product Owner and stakeholders, identify, describe, track, prevent and resolve risks and remove or facilitate removal of impediments
· Support the Programme Manager in ensuring Barclays governance standards are applied within the team
· Support the Product Owner, especially with respect to product backlog refinement
· Support and communicate with DevOps and other team members to secure successful execution of release go-live activities
· Help teams to maximise their sustained output and quality and to maintain team's motivation
· Gather key data and agile metrics and conduct trend analysis on key data points to support continuous improvement and the removal of future impediments and waste.
· Facilitate retrospectives on a frequent basis to identify problems and continuous improvement solutions
· Communicate and negotiate with Product Owners where appropriate to ensure that build progress is transparently communicated, scope is correctly prioritised, issues resolved efficiently.
· Ensure the development team fully understands the overall programme of work, the deployment schedule, project and resource dependencies.
· Engage with multiple teams and disciplines to resolve issues in a timely manner and drive out root cause identification through varied tools and methods.
· Maintain strong communication with relevant teams, stakeholders.
· Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
· Help the team become self-organising and cross-functional
· Maintain knowledge of current good practices and new trends in Agile delivery
· Risk and Control Objective - Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards
Requirements for IJP for the position of Analyst 4 – BC&I, E& D
• Technical development and delivery experience of Siebel.
• A passion for learning
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Hands on agile delivery experience and/or knowledge of Barclays Agile Change Lifecycle (BACL) process
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and practices (Scrum, Kanban etc) and tools (Rally, Jira, Jenkins etc)
• Ability to coach and facilitate good communication within the team and with stakeholders
