Collateral and Margin Services
The Collateral and Margin Services is a business and risk aligned function responsible for managing Barclays' collateral exposure and regulatory margin commitments across a range of products and sectors to help minimise credit, market and reputational risks associated to our trading and business activity. Our focus is to ensure high levels of operational control across our processes, a proactive approach to managing risk and improving processes, and to partner closely with business and infrastructure teams to support the efficient use of capital and balance sheet resources for the firm

Overall purpose of role:

The team is also responsible for developing best practice to meet industry and client demand, driving compliance with the growing market and regulatory requirements, and building a scalable Enterprise Collateral framework that is best-in-class for our future operations. CMS partners closely with teams across Trading, Sales, Collateral Optimisation, Treasury, Product and Valuation Control, Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk and other operating teams.

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:
This section should include:
· To operate as a central point of contact and escalation for trading and operations for daily trading issues
· Construct and send out reporting to trade stakeholders
· Monitor control checks and resolve any queries
· Continually build knowledge and provide SME services across a range of business processes supported by the team
· To assist in new trade onboarding and the booking setup including counterparty and book setup
· To assist in the Funding reporting and validations on T+0
· Manage the structured loans and Bonds portfolio trades including Risk and funding transactions
· Daily Secured funding of internal derivatives books involved as source or user of collateral
· Capture, validate and Record vendor prices for structured tradesRisk and Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

Your Skills and Qualifications will include
· o Basic Qualifications
· o Bachelor's Degree
· o 1+ Years experience in the financial services
· o 1+ Years experience working closely with global teams

· o Preferred Qualifications
· o Broad business and operational knowledge across markets and asset classes is valuable
· o Experience of working with external counterparties is a plus
· o Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship management, communication and teamwork
· o Strong analytical and problem solving skills
