Job Title AEM Developer
Location Knutsford

The BX Web Services team has responsibility across the customer and colleague facing web estate for all of our global businesses. The team is rapidly growing and is driving customer experience consistency, standardised frameworks, cost and process efficiencies and reducing reliance on 3rd party agencies across the bank. The team is responsible for designing, building and maintaining customer facing website's for over 100 of our sites, applications and tools.

What will you be doing?

• To write code to specification for one or more of our applications or products.
• To test the code thoroughly, create selenium (or similar) automated test scripts and liaise with business users to ensure the solution is fit for purpose.
• To maintain a strong technical understanding of components or sub-components within an application or product, providing support for technical queries, live incidents and problems.
• To ensure the technical integrity and quality of the applications or products is maintained across their lifetime, contributing to the development of any technical changes being proposed.
• To develop solutions using industry best practice techniques that align to the latest security and accessibility guidelines.
• To contribute to the creation, assessment and validation of requirements.
• To drive the creation and maintenance of automated tests to assure adherence to requirements.
• To contribute to Agile planning, review and retrospective activities as a developer.

What we're looking for:

• Significant experience in developing solutions in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM / CQ5)
• Significant experience in Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Programming
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, writing automated tests using Cucumber/JBehave, node, grunt
• Working to the Agile methodology and tools including JIRA, Confluence (or similar)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience with tools, techniques and frameworks that support Continuous Delivery

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our technology hub in the North West, located at Rabroke Hall in Knutsford. It's convenient for most individuals who live within a 35-mile radius, spanning from Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and Stoke. It's a lively atmosphere with large open plan offices, with everything you need on site including various catering options, Starbucks, Gym, onsite parking etc.
