Pulse are now looking to recruit a Booking Coordinator to join their well established and growing Bank Partners Division based in Kings Cross, London.

At a glance:

The successful applicant will be responsible for booking agency staff into appropriate shifts for their given skills. You will ensure good relations are upheld with all agency workers, external clients and internal customers (business units) and that a professional and seamless service is delivered. This role will be based at our site in London (Kings Cross).

  • Update nurse and carer availability to ensure an accurate standby list each day
  • Taking full and correct details of all outstanding shifts from clients
  • Identifying and placing the correct nurse/carer for outstanding shifts
  • Ensuring responses are maintained in an appropriate time period to fill bookings as quickly as possible
  • Update agency worker information to be submitted to Head Office
  • Proactively contact clients to identify new shifts and vacancies
  • Ensuring all company administrative systems are strictly adhered to
  • Ensuring all problems/complaints are handled appropriately and politely
  • Ensuring messages and complaints are forwarded to the appropriate PULSE staff, both in and out of office hours
  • Developing and maintaining good communication links and working relationships with nurses, carers and clients
  • Ensuring the use of the in-house system and associated systems are carried out according to company guidelines and procedures
  • Ensuring full and comprehensive handovers are given to Business Managers and business unit


This will be shift-based within Bank Partners’ Out of Hours team, and we are predominately looking for weekend and bank holiday cover (although additional weekday shifts may be possible). The shift hours are 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.

Candidates for this role should enjoy and excel in building relationships with associates and clients, be an excellent communicator and genuinely enjoy talking with people. Determine and self-motivated people with previous experience in a target driven environment and a genuine will to succeed will be ideal for this position!
