Acting as the first point of contact of the bank's prospects and clients, the Business Developerwill develop and manage a corporate client portfolio in accordance with the bank business strategy and objectives. The reporting line will be the head of Business Development Department
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develops business banking strategies in order to sell products and services to prospective corporate clients
* Actively develops his/her network, identifies potential sales opportunities and generates new businesses for the bank
* Builds, develops, and maintains profitable lending and deposit relationships with new and existing customers
* Visits customers and prospects in order to understand their current business practices and identify their financial goals and needs
* Prepares commercial meetings and proposes the most appropriates ways to present and communicate the bank's products and services
* Prepares final proposals for qualified prospects as a final step in establishing financial relationships
* Provides financial advices to clients to enable them to make sound decisions
* Ensures that requests from prospects and clients are answered in due time and performs a close monitoring of the good running of the whole process which is under his/her responsibility
* Permanently takes care of the bank's image and reputation in his/her oral and written communication
* Other related work assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and experience:

* Bachelor's degree or above in Banking & Finance related majors
* Proven experience of at least 3 years in a client facing / business development role dealing with corporate clients.
* Experience in one or several markets mentioned hereafter: Luxembourg, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands
* Fluency in English, any other language specific to the covered market would be a valuable asset
* Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to explain complex information clearly and simply, good sales and negotiation skills, drive, initiative, motivation, honest, trustworthy
