Responsibilities:

·  Supporting various interest rate derivative products and trade types and performing daily reconciliations to ensure that the team operates in a safe and controlled environment in order to minimize operational risk
·  Responsible for Trade validation and Trade Event management and reporting
·  Calculate New Business P&L on all Interest Rate products traded each day (new trades, cancellations, economic and non- economic edits, allocations etc.) and compare/reconcile to valuations provided by the trading desk
·  Upload Yield Curve and Option Volatility surfaces to ensure correct P&L and Risk calculation
·  Being actively engaged in business process re-engineering including system implementations
·  Identify system issues and limitations and propose solutions/requirements to further build out the required technology
·  Deliver support for new products and initiatives, define requirements for Trade support and be able to influence peers and business partners
·  Being a natural first point of contact for the Front Office, P&L team, other Business partners and the Bank’ customers
·  Ensures effective planning and execution of client deliverables on a timely basis

Required skills:

·  Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an Accounting, Finance or Economics major. Master’s Degree a plus
·  Must be a highly motivated team player who can be flexible in his/her approach and able/willing to question existing procedures and processes in order to improve them
·  Good written/verbal communication skills
·  Must demonstrate a can-do attitude necessary to create good relationships with traders, management, other business partners and the Bank’s customers

Desired Skills:

·  Minimum of 3-4 years of applicable experience (e.g. Operations, Middle Office, Derivatives)
·  Strong Excel skills. VBA and/or SQL skills a plus
·  Must be able to fully understand the impact of current and future IT developments on existing Trade Support processes and play a role in their implementation
·  Is able to see the big picture, to identify non-optimal processes, to propose solutions and to implement them within timelines and cost constraints
·  Ensures effective planning and execution of client deliverables on a timely basis
